Do you want it to be funny? Cute? Words? Images? Think about what they’ll enjoy the most, what will make them smile, and there’s no way they won’t love it!

6. Note Jar  

Now for a fun DIY perfect for a significant other: a date jar! This is another gift that you can take in any direction you want. From finding your own unique jar or container, to filling it with date ideas that are perfect for you and your significant other, this gift truly comes from the heart and is a gift that keeps on giving! The more you fill the jar with date ideas, the more longer you get to enjoy this gift together. 

This idea can be altered as well from “date jar” to “reasons I love you,” to an "Adventure Fund" piggy bank, or "favorite memories together” jar. I once did a memory jar like this before for my mom’s birthday when I was in junior high. It had 100 pieces of paper in it with either funny quotes from inside jokes or especially fun memories and my mom was only allowed to read one a day which as you can imagine, made it last a good long while; it was our favorite part of the night was getting to read one of the jar notes and she loved it! This meaningful gift is a great way to show someone you love that you care about them and never forget all the fun you have together and how much you appreciate them.

From beer steins and glass lanterns, to picture frames and glass panel night lights, there are so many glass blanks to choose from and you’re truly only limited by your imagination on how you can personalize them. This gift is a great example of what you can make if you’re wanting to stay budget-friendly, and give a high-end gift.
